Full day to Pompeii ruins from Maratea: Travel back in time until the day when, in 79 AD, Vesuvius erupted and buried the Roman city of Pompeii.
You can take advantage of the transport service directly from the hotel and you will be taken to the ruins in a minivan full optional. During the tour you will know about a frozen city over the years more than 2000 years ago as well as one of the most famous destinations in the world. Listen to the history of the Forum, the Baths, the House of the Fleurs and the Lupanare. You will discover the daily life of an ancient Roman city, named World Heritage by UNESCO: try to imagine the colors, smells and sounds of the era. Among the main attractions of the archaeological site, you will find the Marina Gate, one of the original access to the city, the Forum, the Main Square and the temples, the arcades and the courtyards that surround it.
Either with the help of an Audioguide and a map or escorted by a licensed touristic guide, you will be able to visit the most important domus and sites in about 2/3 hours, listening to accurate information and historical legends.
